Village of Cong. IrelandThe Village of Cong in the Republic of Ireland is a quiet and very picturesque area. A bronze statue lies in the center of the village and is dedicated to all those involved in the 1951 production of the film The Quiet Man which was filmed in Cong. As you go beyond Bragg Creek along the Elbow River corridor, this beautiful little lake is approached on a path through a heavy growth of spruce trees.
