Autumn in the Sheep River ValleyWhen entering the Sheep River Kananaskis Country, this is one of the first major view points traveling towards the Sheep River Falls. The fall colors were exceptionally bright and colorful for late September. A Trusting Blackcapped ChickadeeWhile walking in Fish Creek Park in the middle of the winter, a tiny chickadee followed me for several hundred yards. It called to me constantly until I reached in my pocket and pulled bird seed from a partially opened bag. As soon as I revealed the seed in the palm of my hand, it flew fearlessly to my finger tip. It fed for at least ten minutes and then followed me flying flying from tree to to tree top as I moved on.
